SRM are recruiting a Group Reporting Manager ( ACA ) role for a Construction company in Borehamwood / North London. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, managing and overseeing the external and internal financial reporting of the Group, a reputableand growing business. Fantastic role working with key stakeholders and leadership teams.

**Key Duties**:

- Lead and co-ordinate the year-end Group audit process and preparation of Annual and Interim Statutory reports, including the direct resolution of complex audits queries.
- Lead and provide support for Group month end reporting processes.
- Review of monthly consolidated management accounts and board pack including detailed P&L review, comparison to budget analysis and challenge of key balance sheet reconciliations, leading to the identification of risks and opportunities.
- Liaise with the wider finance team to understand Group processes and take responsibility for specific processes as required.
- Keep abreast of UK accounting and taxation legislation enabling the Group to remain fully compliant in respective areas. Provide technical support to other members of the Finance team on accounting and reporting matters.
- Participate in Group projects which impact on the Finance team.
- Involvement with treasury and cash flow reporting.
- Build meaningful relationships with all key stakeholders, including fellow finance team members, external auditors, tax advisors and HMRC.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, effectively present ideas and turn them into practical actions. Lead initiatives on continuous improvement of financial reporting and support wider Group goals and initiatives.
- Support the budgeting and re-forecasting process.

ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with 3+ years post qualified experience.

Statutory and management reporting background essential. Audit trained preferential.

Be an excellent communicator both verbally and in the written form.

Ability to challenge the 'status quo.’

Excellent organisational, numerical, analytical, and problem solving skills.

To be flexible and able to adapt to a changing environment.

A self-starter who is able to manage and prioritise tasks and meet challenging deadlines as well as manage expectations upwards.
