We’re looking for a Senior Personal Wellbeing Coach to join our team and provide a tailored service to our participants, ensuring they have the skills and confidence they need to live successfully in the community.

Working as part of our Personal Wellbeing Team, you’ll support offenders both in custody and as they reintegrate into society, focusing on their well-being and lifestyle. You’ll give in-depth advice and support, so we’ll need your ability to motivate others and facilitate learning to change attitudes and behaviour, with the aim to avoid the possibility of re-offending.

You’ll support and deputise for the Team Leader, which will include training of new staff, allocation of cases and identifying community provisions that will help our participants increase their pro-social behaviour. We’d also be looking for you to lead by example, producing quality assessments and action plans and recording all intervention records timely and accurately.

**Location**: Hybrid working, managing cases across Kent. Travel around the local area when required to attend meetings and participant appointments.
**Hours**: Part-time, 18.5 hours per week (days to be decided)
**Contract**: Permanent

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and embed a high-quality performance culture in which professional standards are upheld and participants enabled to achieve positive change
- Action referrals received from Probation Practitioners and other relevant staff within the timescales of the contract
- Support/deputise for the Team Leader when necessary
- Update and maintain an electronic database to record service user attendance and achievement and generate statistics and prepare reports and case studies to demonstrate this

**Skills and Experience**:

- Level 3 award in either Information, Advice and Guidance or Education & Training, or the willingness to undertake - desirable
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Experience in working with groups or individuals to motivate and change behaviour
- Experience working with a variety of people who have experienced a range of social/personal difficulties
- Advocacy skills
