Admin Officer/Post Room Support
Temporary assignment for 1 year with a possible extension
£12.25 per hour (paid weekly)
Office based 5 days a week in Croydon

The Divisional Support Team (DST) provides office based, and remote working support, to the teams across the division, ensuring that all support functions are carried out efficiently and in line the divisional standard level agreements.

Description:
" Post opening; including but not limited to, scheduling recorded post, opening and sorting post received via Royal Mail and DX and sorting post while following set out procedures for safely opening post.
" Queries; checking any post received against the case management system to ascertain whether it is an existing case, new case or to be returned. To escalate any queries to the relevant team for clarification when unable to determine.
" Cheque scheduling; on a rota basis to schedule all cheques received on the day. Sort all cheques into Big, SRA, rejects etc. To verify against, companies house, the status of any cheque over £10,000.00 and reject if outside of the jurisdiction or active /in liquidation.
" Scanning post to individual colleagues / team e-folders; checking throughout the day the DST and scanning post to the indicated case officer or team folders, returning any documents as requested, signing and dating scanned documents as evidence and sortinginto appropriate teams / case officer trays.
" Returning documents received through the post; using the pre-set estates, companies and CBT letters, to return any documents received through the post for rejection or requesting more information / resubmission of correct forms etc.
" Outgoing post; checking the BV Postal correspondence e-folder throughout the day and printing off any letters for posting. Sorting and franking post depending on class / recorded status.
" Scheduling personal items received in estates cases; following the divisions process to schedule all jewellery / keys / personal effects of deceased persons items received through Royal Mail. Storing items safely and appropriately in accordance with riskmanagement procedures
Admin Experience is required to be successful.
