Timber Framer and Erector

We are looking for an experienced Timber Framer to join our team, helping to fabricate timber frame panels in our workshop in Welshpool, including installing the timber frames on site around the UK.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manufacture high quality timber frames panels to required specification, following our manufacture drawings
- Liaise with Project Manager, Workshop Manager and Construction team for project timescales, details and plans
- Travelling to site to erect timber frames to project deadlines, staying away where required, following quality standards and procedures
- Maintain a good standard of onsite health and safety

**Experience & Skills**
- Level 3 Carpentry OR minimum 2 years working as a carpenter or timber framer
- Working knowledge of materials used in carpentry
- Working knowledge of relevant tools & equipment
- Working knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation
- Full clean UK driving license
- Positive attitude to work and colleagues

This role will be a full time position in the workshop Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm. Site work will times will vary and flexibility may be required during busy times.

All necessary training will be provided.

PYC is a family run business located in a beautiful area of Mid Wales, based in our certified PassivHaus office, next to our purpose-built workshop. We design and manufacture timber frame buildings, using a closed panel system that we deliver and install on site in two weeks.
