PYC is a family run business located in a beautiful area of Mid Wales, based in our certified PassivHaus office, next to our purpose-built workshop. We design and manufacture timber frame buildings, using a closed panel system that we deliver and install on site in two weeks.

Our timber frame building system uses high performance products, where we produce sustainable and energy efficient buildings. The Passivhaus standard is an important part of our construction ethos. We pride ourselves on focusing on our clients’ needs as well as meeting increasing demands for ecological and sustainable buildings.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manufacture high quality timber frames panels to required specification, following our manufacture drawings.
- Liaise with Project Manager, Factory Manager and Construction team for project timescales, details and plans
- Where necessary travel to site to erect timber frames to project deadlines following quality standards and procedures
- Maintain a good standard of onsite health and safety
- Work with and learn from your assigned mentor

**Experience & Skills**
- Working knowledge of materials used in carpentry
- Working knowledge of relevant tools & equipment
- Working knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation
- Full clean UK driving license
- Punctual
- Positive attitude to work and colleagues
- Ability and awareness of working safely

This role will be a full time position Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm, Flexibility may be required during busy times. All necessary training will be provided and we will support you through an apprenticeship working towards a globally recognised carpentry and joinery level 2 qualification.

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
