Manufacturing Coordinator

**Job Function & Key Tasks**
- Responsible for the co-ordination of production output, from customer schedule through to despatch.
- Collaborate with Customer Liaison to understand schedule, schedule changes and be able to react appropriately to these.
- Collaborate with planning to understand, production plan and raw material availability against schedule requirements.
- Identify risks to schedule and escalate to management for resolution.
- Collaborate with production to ensure that manufactured products are consistent to schedule.
- Support department managers to organise and prioritise respective workload to schedule requirements (Assembly, Mould and Paint).
- Confirm consignment accuracy prior to advising customer.
- Act as the link between despatch and customer liaison to ensure that all customer required information is available and delivered on time (invoicing, packing quantities etc.)
- Direct the Despatch team with regard to consignment quantities and schedule.
- Responsible to deliver customer demand on time and in full (OTIF).
- Evaluate and improve existing process; implement new process drive improvement.
- Ensure all staff are following procedures.
- Able to train staff on relevant systems (Javelin, MS office, Crystal)
- Adhere to quality standards and procedures.
- Deliver KPI’s.
- Any other ad-hoc duties set by manager.
**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience of working in a production scheduled role essential.
- Experience in working to processes compliant with ISO 9001 (and ideally TS16949).
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Highly motivated - able to work as part of a small team as well as the initiative to work alone when required.
- Able to demonstrate a flexible and dynamic approach to all tasks set.
- Effective time management - able to work within tight timescales in line with production needs.
**Education, Experiences & Qualifications**
- 2-5 years production experience at Team Leader level - beneficial.
- Computer literate.
- Conversant with MRP systems.
- Autonomous and able to make decisions based on situation and data available.
**Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)**
OTIF > 95.
