Family Support Worker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing support and assistance to our foster families and the children they care for. The role involves supporting children and young people in various settings to ensure their well-being and development and support the stability of their foster homes.
**Duties**:
- Assist in the support of children and young people
- Engage children & young people in activities to promote social interaction and personal growth
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children & young people
- Collaborate with other professionals to create and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress
**Skills**:
- Experience working with children or young people is essential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathy and compassion towards those requiring support
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Strong organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 21 per week
