**The role**:
Alexander Steele are on the lookout for a PPM Engineering Supervisor to join an ambitious and growing Food production business in the West London area, supplying major supermarkets & wholesalers throughout the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to joina strong team and have an impact on a large organisation.
- Effectively manage and develop site preventative maintenance plans
- Be seen as a role model and be seen to be involved in shop floor activities, managing and motivating your team to resolve right first time
- Complete weekly reports detailing PPM and corrective works undertaken
- Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality
- Be involved in Continuous Improvement and reducing Downtime
This role reports to the Engineering Manager.
**On offer**:
- Great salary of £50,000 / year
- Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 15:30
- Overtime available at 25%
- 25 days holiday + banks
- Possess a clear understanding of Continuous Improvement and lean techniques
- Good problem-solving skills and a good level of numeracy skills
- Strong understanding of high-speed production equipment
- Comfortable working with automated equipment and able to think quickly
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Excellent understanding of health and safety requirements
- Ideally experienced in FMCG environment
- Positive attitude to work
