Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join their team for a large-scale data centre project in West London
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Electrical Construction Manager to transfer into a booming sector and will continue to do so over the coming years. The data centre sector is the fastest growing sector in construction and the need for its infrastructure will continue to grow for many years to come, as will the need for data centre talent.
This role also provides a great opportunity to take the next step in your career towards project management, with a company that is renowned for the training and retention of its staff.
Electrical Construction Manager Responsibilities:
* Management of Site QA, specifically with regards to the Electrical package including setting up, management and closeout of file
* Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Project team, consulting Engineer and Client requirements.
* Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minute meeting with sub-contractor
* Knowledge of all electrical systems in commercial settings
* Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
* Management of the snagging system ensuring that the supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable.
* Issue direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to time administrator for tracking centrally.
* Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
Electrical Construction Manager Experience:
* Candidates must have 5 years’ experience working in a mission critical sector
* Previous Commercial and Install experience
* Degree Qualified that is related to the Electrical Engineering field
* Ability to mobilise quickly and hit the ground running on a complex scheme
* Strong leadership ability
* Career motivated
