We have an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Merthyr Tydfil team as a floating support Case Worker.

In Merthyr Tydfil we offer both floating and housing crisis support. The case worker role will be working with people who are receiving support through our floating support scheme. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people, building people’s confidence and skills to be able to manage their home independently of support and to prevent homelessness. We provide people to provide social, emotional, and practical support. We work with people experiencing challenges with their mental health and emotional wellbeing that could impact their ability to maintain a stable tenancy. As part of the floating support scheme we also work with Merthyr Tydfil Housing Association managing and providing support to people living in our dispersed properties. The scheme operates between the hours of 9-5pm, Monday - Friday. The role requires the case worker to be out visiting people in their own homes working within the community.
