Hay Castle cafe is situated at the iconic Hay Castle, opening only in May 2022 after many years of renovation and a whopping £7 million spent on getting it ready for the public, Hay Castle is a destination full of history, character and great food & drinks.

The Café at Hay Castle, serves brunch, lunch and delicious cakes alongside hot and cold drinks and is open 7 days a week from 10am - 5pm and we are looking for bright, energetic and bubbly front of house staff to help serve our guests. Hospitality is fast paced and we are looking for staff who are at the top of their game.

Our goal is simple - Delicious, local, seasonal produce paired with first class customer service.

**What are we looking for?**

Big personality, lots of energy and a huge smile

Previous Waiting experience is a must a passion for food and drink will go a long way too You may be making drinks or taking orders and running plates.

Well presented, Ambitious person with a natural gift for hospitality

Team player who can also use their initiative to ensure we give the best standard to our guests.

A people person who can consistently provide first class customer service, delivering tasty food and beverages to each guest.

The Front of house team are the face of any catering business, it will be your job to deliver a great customer experience to each guest every time.

**Job responsibilities**

Waiting tables, taking orders, serving food and clearing tables

Making and preparing hot and cold drinks

Providing excellent customer service, being friendly and welcoming with customers

Taking payments and using our Till system

During summer - working on our outside stalls such as Ice cream stands and BBQ’s

Occasionally working events such as weddings and parties
