ExxonMobil has operated in the U.K. for more than 135 years. We are best known today for the marketing of our Esso fuels and Mobil 1 lubricants and for our petrochemicals. We have refining and chemical operations in the UK, we operate the UK’s biggest private pipeline network and we retain a non-operated share in a number of fields in the North Sea. **What role you will play in our team**:
Sit within Trading team, helping with management of positions, commercial margin and exposure.
Serve as key commercial contact for internal support functions.

**What you will do**:
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Support commercial margin reconciliation for the trade team.
- Support position and exposure management for the trade team and ensure balanced and correct positions.
- Key commercial contact for interfacing with internal functions.
- Support reporting organization with communication of business strategy.
- Work closely with traders to understand and support team strategy.
- Support Trading with ad-hoc business.

**About you**:
To be eligible for this role, you should:

- Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in an analytical discipline e.g. Engineering, Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics (or hold other relevant industry experience)
- Strong commercial skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-national and cross-functional teams
- Be able to demonstrate strong numerical skills
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate in a clear, concise and engaging manner
- Be able to showcase initiative, tenacity and drive for continuous improvement
- Have solid IT skills, particularly in Excel
- Enjoy working collaboratively within the trading community, regionally and across the globe

**Preferred Qualifications / Experience**:

- Experience in commercial and trading space
- Strong proficiency and knowledge of oil markets
- Understanding of key trading terminology and parameters
