Operations Assistant

Axiom Personnel are currently recruiting for an Operations assistant to help alongside our client with the day to day operations of the business.
The working hours will be 8am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday.
This a very dynamic role and were looking for a professional with strong communication skills, wanting to excel.
**Day to day duties**:
- Produce word, excel and power point documents as directed, which will include detailed specifications, contracts, correspondence and presentations.
- Ordering office stationery, company uniform, PPE and other general office supplies and equipment and ensuring supplies are kept at a consistent level.
- Travel arrangements including booking flights, train tickets, hotels etc.
- Assist in Quotations, PQQ’s and Tenders.
- Arrange bookings of Couriers, Parcelforce etc and keep a log to ensure charges are DGP’d to correct salesperson.
- Assist with the induction of new staff - Induction packs, associated information and equipment is available on their first day of employment and updated personal records through the company.
- Review sales & purchase order history, integrating all outstanding orders making appropriate adjustments & confirmations.
**Skills**:
- A positive attitude to dealing with people and a client focussed approach.
- Excellent communication skills through all channels.
- Well-developed organisation skills, and the ability to work on own initiative, accurately to tight deadlines, and to prioritise between competing demands.
