A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Yard Supervisor to join our Manufacturing team at our Barry site.This role will be responsible for the Yard Team ensuring safety, compliance to process and procedures, and behavioural standards. This will be done by promoting a positive safety culture for all in the Yard area, completing incident forms and ensuring preventative actions are robust and completed on time, in full. You will also conduct safety inspections and safety audits on a weekly basis and documents findings using the incident forms, ensuring H & S compliance.You will be responsible for the whole yard operation and outside areas maintaining an organised yard productivity by ensuring your team are continually trained in product knowledge and organising the yard operation to function in an organised, productive way. You will be a key part to the site leadership team, work positively and constructively with other departments to support and find solutions to drive improvement in site performance.As a Yard Supervisor, you will be able to complete good investigations and RCA to improve preventative actions, have a good understanding of ERP systems and have knowledge and experience of lean techniques. Problem solving and excellent communication skills are the key to success.**Who we are**:
