Pertemps are currently recruiting a Transport Supervisor to work for our client based in St Athan on a temporary ongoing basis.

Working hours: 07:00-16:00 Monday to Friday.

Pay: £13 per hour + possible overtime

**Responsibilities**:

- Compliance & Legality;
- Assisting in yard during busy periods;
- Processing orders into runs;
- Ensuring all work allocated to correct vehicles each week and all revenue downloaded and accounted for;
- Liaising with customers with regards to orders;
- Control and monitor the ongoing relationships with their clients to a high quality and standard;
- Ordering stock;
- Completing vehicle checks, repairs and service bookings;
- Ensure all contract KPI's are met;
- Ensuring all drivers tacho hours are correct;
- Planning own fleet and dedicated sub-contractor fleet around the network;
- Maintain haulier, driver and customer relationships.

**Requirements**:

- Organisational skills;
- Ability to balance conflicting priorities;
- Good communication skills;
- Previous transport experience.

Full training will be provided.
