An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Bristol and Weston Bowel Cancer Screening Centre which covers Bristol and North Somerset, serving a population of over 900,000.

You will employed by University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust and based at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, but you will be required to work across multiple sites, including Bristol Royal Infirmary, South Bristol Community Hospital, Southmead Hospital and possible future working at Weston General Hospital.

Additionally you must have good Information Technology (IT) skills as this post also includes daily data entry into a national screening database. Specialist training will be provided for use of the Bowel Cancer Screening IT system, Open Exeter. Some experience in teaching or health promotion is also an advantage, but not essential. You should also hold a full driving licence, have access to a car and be willing to travel between hospital sites.

Previous experience and knowledge of working in the following areas are desirable but not essential: screening programmes, gastroenterology, endoscopy, pre assessment, or oncology.
