Fibre Supervisor

As part of our sustained growth, OCU Group are looking to recruit a Fibre Supervisor to join our Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to work across the East Riding area, who is passionate to work in a fast-paced environment and be a part of a successful growing organisation.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Managing deployment of u/g and o/h cable gangs in the field.
- Managing deployment of sub-duct gangs in the field.
- Manage deployment of fibre splicers and testers.
- Planning the cable gangs’ works.
- Planning the splicers and testers works.
- Ensuring the cable gangs are as productive as possible.
- Ensuring the quality of cable and splicing installations.
- Materials management.
- Able to report on progress daily/weekly/monthly.
- Calculate gangs’ weekly measures for sub-contractor payments and direct gangs’ wages.

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience of working on major Comms companies’ networks and infrastructure.
- Experience of different u/g cabling methodologies.
- Experience of different o/h cabling methodologies (blowing/pulling) inc, working on Openreach Poles.
- Knowledge and experience of using the correct winches and methodologies for different cable installations.
- NRSWA Supervisor accredited in SLG (at least).
