**What you’ll be doing**
As the **Operations Integration Engineer,** you'll be covering various projects within Oxford and the surrounding area across Major Projects in Capital Delivery and the requirement will evolve as the programme develops. Travel to sites to completeSHE Audits, attend meetings, view proposed installations, or cover absences/vacancies may be required.
The key accountabilities for the **Operations Integration Engineer include**:

- Promoting Thames Water’s Health and Safety Three Zeros culture of ‘Zero Incidents, Zero Harm & Zero Compromise’ by supporting the well-being of team members, colleagues, and contractors
- Ensure the project teams and operations understand the underlying drivers of needs along with any operational synergies across their operational area and wider programme
- Adopt the standardised approach to operational engagement to ensure efficient governance and that the engagement meets the necessary quality standards
- Support the design process, ensuring Operational layouts and functionality are in line with Best Operating Practices. Support of key design reviews (Solutions review / Challenge Workshop, HAZOP, HAZCOM, SWIFT)
- Understand and agree on the site access, mobilisation, and availability of plant and personnel to facilitate construction, integration, commissioning, training, and Take Over
- Understand and agree on risks, outages, and schedules, ensuring these are effectively agreed upon and communicated at appropriate levels within Operations
- Liaise with project teams to agree on ownership and responsibilities during the Take Over process and agree on post Take Overworks

**What you should bring to the role**:

- Be experienced in managing sites and liaising with Capital Delivery teams
- Be qualified in NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, SMSTS or IOSH
- Be knowledgeable in construction design and management regulations
- Have an appreciation of operational issues/constraints and the ability to help develop solutions fitting to the needs
- Understand the Capital Delivery process and forms of contract
- Experience in an operational role related to water/wastewater/networks as appropriate
- Understanding of the development of design, construction, and operation of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects Understanding of performance and quality management
- Possess a full driving licence and access to a car for business useas travel across Thames Water's catchment area will be required
