Housekeeping Supervisor

**JOB PURPOSE**:
As a Housekeeping Supervisor you assist the Head Housekeeper to deliver the best possible customer experience in housekeeping by anticipating guests’ needs and exceeding their expectations by careful planning and organisation.

You need to be passionate about attention to detail and customer service and always willing to go the extra mile.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Leading the day to day running of the housekeeping department
- Work well with all department supervisors/managers to ensure the highest guest experience is always delivered
- Deliver consistent excellent service, fostering customer loyalty through adopting a friendly, welcoming manner ensuring genuine customer empathy and a “can do” attitude prevails.
- Assist the Head Housekeeper with recruiting/interviewing new team members
- Responsible for maintaining stock levels
- Deep Cleaning
- Assist the Head Housekeeper with procedures for health & safety and COSHH

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
- Good IT skills including practical experience of using restaurant booking and/or hotel reservation systems and a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- High level of customer service skills and be passionate about delivering a 5* experience that rocks
- The ability to work under pressure and to multi task
- Previous housekeeping supervisory experience and training
- 2 or more years in a 3/4-star hotel working in a similar role

**Other**:
Able to work flexible work patterns, including bank and public holidays, weekends and evening shifts as required according to a rota set in advance - shift could range from 6am to 10pm. Pay: £11.75 per hour
