**Job Title: - Let’s Get Sporty Coaching Mentor**
**Reports to: - Directors/Line Manager**
**Salary: - £14,170 per annum plus Pension Package**
**Hours: - 25 hours per week**
**Job Purpose: -**
- To ensure Ler’s Get Sporty continues to meet its aims of delivering physical activity service, training, education, and employment to local communities.
- To provide mentoring and support to our volunteer trainees and progress them to a positive destination in employment or education.
- To support the directors work, in ensuring long term sustainability of the organisation.
- To be responsible for all projects activity including staff and volunteer trainees.
**Key Responsibilities: -**
- To line manage trainees in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
- To develop and implement trainee development programmes.
- To assist with trainee induction and recruitment.
- To mentor and support trainees.
- To develop, manage and deliver classes/sessions at local centres.
- To adhere to existing financial and operational procedures where appropriate.
- To ensure Health and Safety and legal requirements are adhered to.
- To implement marketing strategies to maximise income generation.
- To follow monitoring and evaluation protocols in accordance with funding and project requirements.
- To support Directors in securing new business
- To support LGS Managers as instructed.
- To develop partnerships with the relevant external agencies.
- To support events as directed by Line Managers and/or Directors.
- To carry out administrative duties as deemed necessary for the post.
- Design CFE and LGS Session Plans.
- To ensure equipment is clean and appropriate for coaching.
- Any other duties deemed appropriate to the post.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £14,170.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dumfries, Dumfries and Galloway: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
