**As a Head of Quality, Teaching, Learning and Assessment (HQTLA) you will take on a leading role in achieving teaching and learning excellence.**

Working closely with the Assistant Principal for **Sixth Form,** you will implement and monitor the college’s strategy as we push on in our journey from Good to Great

**Day-to-day you will be responsible for**:

- Empowering staff to seek constant improvement in teaching, learning and assessment practices by being an inspirational leader who has built up strong working relationships with the curriculum team
- Ensuring a high-quality student experience that leads to outstanding achievement, progression and employability outcomes for all students
- Leading a team while sharing best practice and innovations cross-college to enhance the quality of teaching, learning and assessment
- Developing policies and procedures to ensure the college complies with the relevant legal duties
- Produce reports and analyse the information to make data-based quality decisions
- Championing our commitment to putting students first
- Promoting our values of fairness, respect & equality

- Be autonomous and driven, able to make difficult decisions while helping create excellent continuous development programmes for staff colleagues
- Be excited to bring fresh ideas to the table and help us constantly improve
