**Role: Internal Sales Executive**

**Salary**:Basic of £20- £25k per annum DOE + Bonus

**Location**:Barnsley

**Hours**:Monday
- Friday 9am
- 5pm

**The role**:
This is working for our client, a growing wholesaler who sell into many different industries national and worldwide.

You’ll be working as a key part of our sales and ecommerce teams in this multi-faceted sales position. Your duties will include:

- Supporting ecommerce sales by communicating with new and existing customers who need support
- Managing your own portfolio of live accounts
- Prospecting for potential new customers, primarily by phone (telemarketing) but using other communication channels as appropriate
- Managing inbound sales enquiries by telephone and occasionally in-person at our purpose-built showroom
- Maintaining customer records in our CRM system
- Supporting other aspects of sales as required

**Your key duties will include**
- Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs i.e. MS Office 365 and CRM systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in English
- Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Patient and able to handle customer rejection
- The ability to work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
- A flexible approach to work with a collaborative manner
- Strong organisational skills with a focused approach
- A creative mindset
- Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
- Effective communicator
- Team player
