**Job Description**:
Herts Police are offering, for the final time, the opportunity to become a police officer via the Initial Police Learning and Development Programme (IPLDP+).
The IPLDP+ is a well-established programme of initial learning, which takes two years to complete. You will undertake a period of initial learning at our training school, before moving to your designated policing area for tutoring and further operational coaching. Once you have successfully passed IPLDP+ you will be able to consider further opportunities of progression and specialism within the Force.
The starting salary for all new recruits is £26,682 plus a South Eastern Allowance of £3,000. On the current system, officers can expect to be earning a salary of more than £43,000 per annum by your seventh year in the job.
You are required to hold a Full UK Manual driving licence

Police Barred and Advisory Lists
Individuals placed on the Police Barred and Advisory lists will not be considered for employment by the police for a minimum of 5 years from the date of listing in the case of gross misconduct, or 3 years from the date of listing in the case of poor performance.
