An opportunity has arisen for a **Accounts Assistant**to join our existing team in Lincoln working within Lindum Accounts Team. Assisting with all areas of accounting within the company, you will report directly to the Financial Controller.

**Purpose of the role/ Responsibilities**

Duties will include supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties; completing daily and monthly reconciliations of the bank and key control accounts; sales ledger invoicing and cash posting, plus much more.

**Essential criteria**
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Solid accountancy and basic bookkeeping skills
- Solid understanding of financial systems and processes
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and make recommendations
- The ability to function well in a team, as they need to provide support as needed

**Desirable criteria**
- AAT qualified or equivalent
