**WHAT IS ON OFFER**

The Alfred H Knight Risk and Resilience Graduate Programme is the perfect start for a graduate looking to develop their commercial skills and build a long term career in Risk and Resilience. It is an exciting time to join our Risk department as it has grown considerably over the past five years and plays an increasingly more important role in the decision making process across the business.

Based in Knowsley, Merseyside at our UK Global Headquarters, the role will initially involve a two-year development programme that will allow you to perform to your best abilities. During the programme you will gain a breadth of experience across our risk team including Enterprise Risk Management, Insurances and specialist areas such as Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Planning.

**ABOUT THE RISK DEPARTMENT**

You would be part of a highly motivated and innovative team that helps reduce potential financial, client and marketplace, service delivery, people and compliance impacts by creating frameworks, developing policies and working with the wider business to review, challenge and mitigate risks. Identifying, assessing and ultimately managing our risks are fundamental to our business in order to improve the likelihood of meeting and continuing the company’s objectives.

Good governance and risk and resilience management are essential capabilities especially when we place great value on our reputation.

**Required Personal Qualities**

**Key responsibilities**
- Attending and facilitating Risk and Resilience workshops with colleagues across the business
- Compiling and maintaining risk registers
- Participating in and leading risk review sessions
- Supporting the Risk Manager with the continuous development of AHK’s risk management framework
- Supporting risk-related initiatives such as Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management, Travel Risk Management and Insurances

**Required Qualifications and Work Experience**

**Required Languages**
- English (essential)
- Other languages advantageous (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, Japanese, French)

**Travel Requirements**
- Travel as required both domestically and internationally.
- Must have a valid passport and ability to obtain visas as necessary.
