We support the personal growth of our graduates and are currently recruiting for roles in our Professional Risks and General Insurance Divisions to commence in September 2024.

The nature of your degree is not of great significance in itself. We attach more importance to graduates who are bright and enthusiastic, with good communication skills and a desire to take early responsibility and work with a degree of independence.



 

Academic Requirements:

Essential

• Minimum 2:2 Degree Classification 

• 3 x A Levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above 

Desirable

• 2:1 Degree Classification 

• 3 x A Levels (or equivalent) at grade B or above 



 

The Role: 

• Specialising in either General Insurance or Professional Risks, you will undertake the Trainee Broker Development Programme within a 2-year period, and achieve the CII professional qualification, which is highly regarded within the insurance industry 

• Responsibility for allocated clients with supervision, including negotiating with insurers, placing cover and helping clients to manage their risk, as well as dealing with prospective clients with a view to securing new business

• Providing Risk Management advice to clients 

• Creating, updating and managing computer and manual records, as appropriate

• Attending client meetings, accompanied by an experienced member of the team

• Providing support to the team leader and other team members, where required 

• Reporting to the team leader on competition and related issues 

• Performing any other duties which management may, from time to time, reasonably request
