**Job description**

**Works Support Administrator**

The Works Support Administrator(s) must have a high-level attention to detail, is process-driven and proactively looks to effectively communicate with both internal and external contacts to achieve its goal of delivering a service to the customer at the highest standard. The Works Support Administrator(s) will be responsible for the co-ordination of the day to day duties of scheduling engineers work onto the software program, being the first point of contact for the department, general assistance to Works Manager with the use of Excel & Word along with other company software programs. In addition taking deliveries from our suppliers, keeping stock arranged for scheduled jobs, ensuring materials are moved from the office in to the storage container. Good house keeping with storage in the office and within the storage container. Handling returns arranging collections with the purchasing team. This will require manual handling, process and structure in place to assist the movement of material.

**Key Responsibilities**

The Key Responsibilities within this role include, but are not limited to:

- Answering queries from Engineers, Works Managers, other Departments within the business and Clients
- Meeting deadlines with individual calls, appointments & reports
- Communicating with clients, engineers and management
- Completion of reports, arranging reports into a manageable & accessible form,
- Understanding escalation protocols
- Organizing engineers day to day works sending out jobs at the end of the day
- Ensuring engineers certification is complete
- Issuing health and safety procedures
- Raising orders for materials and wholesale requests
- Taking deliveries, keeping stock levels, keeping the office and storage container arranged.
- Completing returns

**Person Specification**
- Well versed in I.T programs such at Microsoft Office
- Quick learning with other company Software
- Strong telephone manner
- Organized within a fast pace environment
- Strong communication skills
- Punctual

**Salary**: £25.5k

**Salary**: £25,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Derby: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
