**Special Needs Learning Support Assistant (Early Years)**

- **8:30am - 3:15pm**:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Needs Learning Support Assistant to join the team in a special school with an Early Years Class. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with a range of special needs, including SEMH & ASD. The role is a full-time position with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support students with special needs in an Early Years Class.
- Create and deliver lesson plans, under the guidance of the teacher.
- Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance.
- Monitor and record the progress of students, and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene needs of students.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the smooth running of the classroom.

Key Requirements:

- Relevant qualifications and experience in working with special needs children, particularly those with SEMH and ASD.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
- A patient and calm demeanour, with the ability to handle challenging behaviour.
- The ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as independently.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £1,400.00-£1,700.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Special needs: 1 year (preferred)
- School/nursery: 1 year (preferred)
