The Employability Services work across Linkage Community Trust, to deliver and support employability skills to the people we support within all of our services.

**The role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Job Coach to support within our Employability Services team. As a trust, we embed the importance of developing transferable work skills within a placement for all of our learners and clients.
- be passionate about building positive working relationships with our clients, to empower and support their transition into the world of employment.
- confidently network with employers and career leads to provide a wide range of employability opportunities.
- be able to identify individual client needs and provide a person centred approach to supporting ambitious opportunities within realistic and relevant placements.
- share the trusts vision of promoting inclusive work environments, practice, and enhance our community links.
- effectively review and monitor client progress against agreed outcomes, working towards gaining appropriate accredited qualifications wherever appropriate.
- facilitate employability skills workshops, networking events, guest speaker activities and enterprise projects.
- work collaboratively across our services to provide the best support and care for all those we support. This will include both our post16 provision, residential care, community support and adult skills.

**About you**:
Applicants should be:

- Enthusiastic about the trusts approach to our values of Independence, Respect, Honesty and Teamwork.
- Passionate about the opportunities that come with working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities,
- Excellent communication skills.
- Educated to Level 3 or equivalent and hold, or be willing to work towards, an approved teaching qualification and assessor’s qualification.

Level 2 (equivalent) Maths and English

Willing to work towards PTTLS
- Ability to demonstrate having undertaken continuous professional development
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to inspire and mentor others
- Experience of working effectively as part of a team
- Effective resource management
- Excellent organisation skills, the ability to plan and manage your workload and adapt to the fast paced changes of each day
- Driving licence with access to a vehicle for cross-site travel and travelling to placements with clients.
