Further Processing Operative

Stoddart’s, a leading Scottish beef processor, are recruiting a number of Further Processing Production Operatives to join the busy Further Processing team at our state of the art further processing plant in Broxburn, West Lothian.

This role requires medium to heavy physical effort.

Duties include identifying different beef products, packing them, using machinery/equipment, manual handling, weighing product, and keeping the area of work clean / tidy. Whilst carrying out these duties you will also be responsible for maintaining the highest possible standards in relation to food safety, product quality, and health & safety.

Ideally you will have previous experience working in a similar role in a busy food processing environment. For those who have not worked in this sort of environment before, please be aware that because we are processing beef and frozen products the temperature of the air in the further processing area is chilled. Full personal protective equipment is provided (PPE).

Hours of work are 6am - 2pm, Monday to Friday. Hourly rate is £9.50 however can increase with further training.

Overtime is voluntary and is paid at a rate of time and a half. Wages are paid on a weekly basis each Friday directly into your bank account.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour

- Monday to Friday
