Working alongside overseas counterparts, the Senior Events Producer will be joining a growing business to create memorable live events and brand experiences. Reporting to the Head of Brand Partnerships, the Senior Event Producer will have a proven trackrecord in conceptualizing, budgeting, planning and executing live events and brand experiences of all sizes. To keep things interesting, these live events could include anything from conferences and trade shows, parties and socials, hospitality programs, sponsorshipand brand activations, ad campaign shoots, brand ambassador initiatives to poker tournaments and VIP events. But wait, there is more The Senior Event Producer will also be responsible for merchandising - including ideation, vendor sourcing and distributionstrategies of merchandise and giveaways.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable managing your own schedule and have a keen eye for the detail. You'll be a creative problem solver, team player, multi-tasker with a great sense of humour, a clear communicator with excellentclient service and negotiation skills. **Responsibilities**:

- Identify, source, negotiate contracts and manage 3rd party event management agencies to plan and execute events and experiences as needed
- Oversee, develop and execute live events and experiences from concept to completion
- Create event briefs, concepts and pitch to clients as required
- Collaborate with client's partner agency on overall marketing plans to ensure objectives and deliverables are met
- Create, manage and reconcile budgets
- Location scouting
- Create and manage workbacks, production schedules, timelines, staffing schedules and other key event related documents
- Manage client relations - ensure efficient and effective communication relating to the event with all stakeholders, vendors, external agencies, staffing and other parties as necessary
- Create Request for Proposals (RFP)
- Identify, recommend and negotiate contracts with suitable venues and vendors
- Determine event requirements, source and negotiate contracts for F&B, ancillary services and technical requirements as required (production crews, camera operators, stage managers, show runners, set design, staging/rigging, photographers, videographers,etc.)
- Source, train and support onsite event staff
- Work with vendor management, procurement and finance teams to get appropriate contracts in place and invoices processed
- Organize and secure travel and accommodations as required
- Obtain and secure all required event and venue permits and insurance as required
- Create event contingency plans to reduce risk and deal with any unforeseen circumstances that could threaten the projects' success including inclement weather, talent no-shows, etc.
- Onsite brand management and overall quality control of event production
- Post event reconciliation and analysis - outlining key successes, areas of improvement to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Post event budget reconciliation
- Merchandise - Ideation, research, procurement and distribution strategy

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

- Minimum 5 years' experience as an event manager/producer in large-scale event planning
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or related discipline is an asset
- Certificate in event planning, hospitality management, project management or event production an asset
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience managing project team members and contractors
- Proven ability to develop and manage large event budgets
- Experience negotiating with hotels, event production companies, event vendors and contractors
- Understanding of sponsorships in the context of event and activation environments
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work within a team
- Highly organized, able to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail
- Excellent client relations and communications skills fostering strong relationships
- Effective conflict resolution
- Passionate, hard-working and determined to succeed
- Must be able to travel
- Must be comfortable with a hybrid working model
- Merchandising and/or styling experience and/or passion a plus
