Bookkeeper - Part Time

Job Summary:
Charge-M8 are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our fast growing team, initially as a part-time position, with opportunities to increase hours to full-time as our business grows.

**Duties**:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
- Process payroll and ensure accurate calculation of wages and deductions
- Maintain general ledger and perform month-end closing procedures
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Ability to reconcile financial statements and resolve discrepancies
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
