Part-time Bookkeeper

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to work in the property industry for a growing company. This role offers flexibility in terms of hours and a competitive salary.

**Salary**:£30,000 - £35,000 (pro-rata equivalent)

**Hours**:Flexible

**Responsibilities as the Bookkeeper**:

- Accounting support for multiple businesses in Xero:

- Posting creditor invoices and reconciling creditors
- Posting bank transactions and reconciling bank accounts
- Accruals and pre-payments
- Fixed assets and depreciation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Producing monthly management accounts and presenting to the director
- Posting payroll journals
- Payroll administration
- Managing companies house submissions
- Liaising with external accountants at year end
- Financial modelling of new property deals using Excel
- Managing pipeline of property deals
- Supplier payments

**Requirements**:

- AAT (and similar) or QBE
- Able to work autonomously on a wide variety of tasks
- Organised and tidy
- Conscientious and thorough
- Able to efficiently prioritise workload
- Numerical skills
- Experience of using systems such as Xero, MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Good problem-solving skills where creative thinking is needed
