Laborer

**Mechanical Labourer / Clydebank / Full time (up to £24K)**

**The role**

Our client is a bespoke electronics manufacturer with a diverse and booming portfolio including naval and marine contracts, where we provide solutions to customer’s power system needs. In addition, the business is expanding rapidly due to demand and are adding headcount to help support this exciting period of growth. We’re looking for a mechanical labourer who possesses excellent manual dexterity and is ready to get hands on with a variety of tasks

**What the day to day could look like**
- Interpreting drawings for manufacturing
- Assembling electrical control panel work
- Fitting copper
- Fitting furniture on doors eg. handles on doors
- Occasional site work may be required (UK based)
- Completing assembly of panel work ready for despatch

**Are you who we’re looking for?**
- Proven experience in a similar role is essential
- Experience dealing with Switchgear/switchboards
- Ability to interpret and understand drawings
- You must be comfortable working in small or awkward spaces
- Testing experience of Electrical Switchgear panels and MCC’s would be beneficial
- A full, clean driving licence would be desirable for this role
- A forklift license would be beneficial

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
