**Contract Lawyer**

Job description
We're in search of an experienced Contract Lawyer to join us in our Legal and Governance team to manage a range of contractual documents and ultimately develop contract delivery across RNIB.

This is a full time, permanent role, working hybrid at our London office up to 2 days a week.

**About The Role**

As a Contract Lawyer at RNIB, you will be working with stakeholders across the organisation to negotiate and review contracts, ensuring they are compliant with relevant laws, regulations and codes of conduct.

You will have a personal caseload of contract work which you will be managing autonomously, providing legal advice and drafting correspondence both internally and to external parties as required.

This role will also be managing a junior member of the team, providing support and guidance to develop their skills.

**About You**

To be successful as our new Contract Lawyer, you will have in depth experience of managing complex caseloads, feeling confident to draft and negotiate terms appropriate to the cause.

You will also have good knowledge of charity and commercial law, as well as data protection and key legal trends that could potentially impact RNIB. Experience in working with fundraising, data protection and IT teams would be beneficial, but not essential.

You'll also be a confident communicator, which will be key in not only advising internal stakeholders and the wider legal team, but also in developing your line report.
