Contract Lawyer Opportunity at Marston Holdings

We are seeking a skilled Contract Lawyer to join our Legal Team at Marston Holdings, a leading judicial services company and pioneer in clean air technology. As a Contract Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and assessing the risks of client and supplier contracts, working closely with our Commercial Counsel to meet deadlines and provide expert legal advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing clients and supplier contracts to identify risks and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborating with the Commercial Counsel to ensure timely completion of contract reviews and risk assessments
  • Providing legal advice on contract terms and specifications, including liability limits and risk identification
  • Assisting in the preparation of contracts, variations, and termination letters
  • Liaising with senior stakeholders and officers to ensure efficient and effective working practices

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an in-house commercial legal team is essential
  • Knowledge of contract and procurement law, bids, tenders, and commercial law is required
  • Qualified UK Solicitor or Barrister (NQ-2 PQE is desirable)
