**APPLICANTS MUST BE A UK RESIDENT, AND BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE UK,**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**TWO PERSONAL ASSISTANTS** ARE REQUIRED to support a disabled lady to live independently in her own home.

**HOURS: TOTAL OF 13 HOURS PER WEEK**, TO BE SHARED BETWEEN TWO PERSONAL ASSISTANTS, **AS 6 AND A HALF HOURS PER WEEK EACH.**

**HOURS TO BE WORKED**:
PA 1: Tuesday and Thursday (mornings 9:30am - 12.30pm)

PA 2: Monday and Friday (afternoons 2.00pm - 5.00pm)

The employer can be flexible with these hours, and more hours can be worked if necessary

A car owner/driver is essential for this role. As this role requires the successful applicant to use their own vehicle, they would need to arrange business cover with their insurance provider.

**MAIN DUTIES**:

- Assistance with personal care/bathing as needed
- Assistance with basic meal preparation, shopping (food and general items)
- General housekeeping (housework, laundry, occasional ironing, weekly bed changing)
- Occasional assistance to events and outings
- Assistance with paperwork, general organising and posting mail
- Collecting prescriptions from chemist (usually once per month)
- Transporting to and from clinic/hospital appointments as needed

Successful applicants are required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6.5 per week

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour
