**About the Role**

The role of the Property & Business Skills Tutor is to teach, guide and support the development and progression of participants on our apprenticeship programmes nationally. To support the delivery of the required curriculum via online delivery, face to face and delivering effective and engaging training.

You will be responsible for the planning, delivery and development of the programme. This position is suitable for a self-starter who would enjoy a varied and fast paced role.

Performance will be measured against a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) covering retention, progress, timely reviews, successful completion and progressions.

**Main Duties / Responsibilities**
- To establish good relationships with learners assigned to you, ensuring they are clear about the tasks they have been set and deadlines to meet.
- To be pro-active in communicating with learners on a monthly basis and with their workplace managers ensuring all are kept informed of progress.
- To respond to all learners within a 24hour maximum time frame responding to requests in a manner they prefer.
- Advise and support learners in the selection of units and levels, including specifying which aspects of the Standards must be assessed through performance in the workplace where appropriate.
- Provide written declaration that evidence produced is authentic and that any assessment was conducted under specified context or conditions
- Guide and support learners as to required evidence to complete learning programmes and build portfolios.
- Assess learners and provide oral and written feedback directly following assessment or within five working days
- To deliver engaging teaching and learning sessions as needed within the workplace
- To support and coach learners through the apprenticeship standard
- To prepare learners for End Point Assessment
- To actively engage with the employer throughout the process encouraging their input at all levels
- To identify workplace targets/projects
- To complete progress reviews within the specified time limits setting clear SMART targets with employer involvement.
- Value the importance of maths, English and ICT skills in the learners’ future economic and social well-being
- Inspire, motivate and raise learners’ aspirations through their passion for the sector
- Operate at all times to ethical and legal standards and within professional boundaries
- Liaise with internal quality assurers, other assessors and professionals
- Ensure equal opportunity practice and anti-discriminatory practice is fully addressed
- To maintain occupational competence in the area of assessment
- To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and promote the work of the company in supporting management decisions and filtering them down.
- Effectively utilise e-learning resources in the assessment and tracking of learner progress
- Attend regular standardization, INSET days & CPD events
- Comply with awarding organization requirements and the companies policies & procedures to ensure high levels of quality and safety
- Complete paperwork (e.g. enrolments, reviews and ILP’s) to the standard required by funding partners and OFSTED.
- Uphold the organisations standards and policies for Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Prevent.
- Other duties as required in accordance with business needs and demands to support as required.
