**SALARY**:

- £30,000- £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
My client designs and manufactures bespoke metalwork projects and they are looking to take on a CAD Designer, on a permanent basis, in the Bishops Stortford area.
**The CAD Designer will ideally have the following attribute**s:

- Degree qualified in Industrial Design, Product Design or Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years+ experience working with design
- Proficiency with 3D CAD (AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, SolidWorks or similar)
- Experience in the steel fabrication or metalwork industry
- Able to work well individually as well as within a team
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

**The CAD Designer role will involve**:

- Preparing designs based on client requirements
- Working with clients to deliver on projects
- Working with development teams to help improve processes
- Being involved in different manufacturing processes and with a range of materials
- Working within the existing technical team as the company continues to grow
