An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered Nurse Associate to join the Adult and Older Adult Community Mental Health Team here at Macclesfield. The applicant must have already have completed the Nursing Associated Foundation Degree and be registered as a nurse associate on the NMC register. The successful applicant will be part of a busy Wellbeing Clinic with responsibility of monitoring clients with mental health conditions, administering medication, completing physical health monitoring and offering lifestyle and wellbeing advice.

The successful applicant will become part of a well established and effective team that supports their colleagues to fulfil the goals of the service and it's clients.

The successful applicant will have a Nursing Associate Foundation Degree and be registered as a nursing associate on the NMC register.

Working as part of the wellbeing clinic team with responsibility to:
Administer physical health monitoring interventions (ECGs, venepuncture, physical observations etc) in both a clinic environment as well as patient’s homes.

Administer mental health medications via injection (depot). Training will be provided if required.

Complete mental health, wellbeing and risk assessments and escalate any concerns to senior colleagues.

Carry a caseload of patients with focus on reviewing mental health and wellbeing.

CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.
