Claims Handler - Scottish Factors
- We now have a new opportunity within our Commercial team, where we deal with desktop property claims for various property management companies, supporting their customers in the event of an insurance claim affecting their property.
- You would be an integral part of our Commercial claims team, expertly dealing with claims whilst building and maintaining relationships with the key parties involved.
- Successful applicants should have a solid background in commercial property desktop claims handling, and a proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service. We will support you every step of the way, providing excellent training to assist you in meeting your full potential. Career progression within the Commercial team is also encouraged for those looking for a future career in Loss Adjusting.
The role will involve working closely with our Commercial Adjusters, developing relationships with our Clients, expertly supporting their customers, guiding them through the claims process, arranging site visits where required, producing repair scopes and liaising with suppliers and contractors to bring each claim to a swift and successful outcome.
- Ideally you will have:
- Excellent customer service skills within an office environment
- Commercial claims experience would be an advantage
- Buildings desktop claims experience would be an advantage
- Proven ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong communication skills - both written and oral
- Accurate keyboard skills
- IT literacy
