- Are you ready to make a significant impact on our Field Service depot's financial operations? We're seeking a talented Finance Administrator to be based in our Worcester Office Site. In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for processing orders, managing sales, and monitoring costs for the local operational team. If you're an organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance, this is the opportunity for you**What You'll Do**:

- Take charge of the Month-end close process for your designated area using SAP.
- Handle a high volume of financial postings, including orders, sales, and margin. You'll be the go-to person for revenue recognition, cost journals, and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with Field Service Management to achieve all financial targets and ensure timely completion of monthly sales forecasts.
- Input new orders into SAP and provide support for order management.
- Monitor the workflow of sub-contracts, offering GRN and payment support.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing in SAP, aligned with operational works completion and contract terms and conditions.
- Coordinate monthly Orders in Hand review with the Field Service Team, ensuring smooth progress of work completion and billing.
- Deliver monthly performance information on orders, sales, and margin, comparing against set targets.
- Engage with customers and contractors to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Manage Traffic Signal Maintenance Contracts, including precise cost allocation, revenue calculation, annual price adjustments, and chargeable events.
- Utilize IT tools and reporting models to drive process improvements and efficiency in all field financial processes.
- Foster effective collaboration with internal departments.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring their satisfaction.

**What You'll Bring**:

- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Mathematics.
- Previous experience in a similar financial/sales ledger role is desirable
- Working knowledge of accounting systems such as SAP or similar preferable but an openness to learn is key

**Desired Competencies**:

- Exceptional organizational skills, allowing you to prioritize workloads and achieve objectives with mínimal supervision
- Ability to take ownership of the monthly commercial cycle
- Proficiency in IT, particularly MS Office, with a focus on Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone manner.**About us**
