CK Group is recruiting for a Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Officer to join a specialist chemicals manufacturing company at their site based near Oxford on a full time, permanent basis.
**The Company**:
Our client is a world leader in specialty chemical manufacture, supplying to a range of markets including food, pharmaceuticals, personal care, coatings agrochemicals and more. They offer a competitive salary in the range of £30,000-£40,000 per annum dependingon experience, as well as 25 days holiday + bank holidays, private healthcare, pension, bonus, life assurance and other benefits. Please note this is a 100% office-based, site-based role.
**Location**:
This role is located close to Oxford and is easily commutable from surrounding areas including Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford, Wantage, Swindon and Reading.
**QA & RA Role**:
Your main duties will be to:

- Look after the company's quality management systems
- Implementation, operation and improvement of the systems for the organization, with particular focus on Food Safety management and Pharmaceutical GMP
- Ensuring these are compliant with the requirements, maintained and updated as part of the overall organization systems
- Manage large volumes of documentation
- Product stewardship
- With particular focus on Food and Pharmaceutical sector
- Work as part of the QA & Regulatory Affairs team
- Liaise across the organisation with multi-department stakeholder team
- Provide effective liaison between suppliers, customers and regulatory group
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and compliance

**Your Background**:

- Degree qualified or equivalent in Chemistry or a related physical or applied science - essential
- Proven industry experience in a related environment - essential. This could be e.g.: QC experience in the food manufacturing industry, or QARA experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, etc.
- An aptitude for Food Safety & Quality Systems Management and Document Control
- GMP knowledge and understanding of regulatory affairs strongly preferred
- Affinity for documentation with a high attention to detail - essential
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams, as well as with suppliers and customers - essential
- Management System Auditing experience - strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel with work - essential
- Driving licence with own car - essential
