An exciting opportunity to join a property and estate management company specialising in a range of activities including construction, property development, residential and commercial property lettings, estate management of our commercial, residential and industrial portfolio of tenanted property along with management of our estate farmlands. The majority of these holdings are beautifully located in the pretty village of Bradfield in North Sheffield.

Previous experience of dealing with the marketing (via social media, and online portals), tenant negotiation and recruitment, and ongoing management of tenanted property is essential.

Overall you should be extremely organized, detail-orientated, enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a willingness to act quickly and change to suit altering circumstances and have a very dynamic nature.

Specific duties will include but are not limited to;
- Take, screen and assist with calls and enquiries.
- Create, prepare and type tenant communications, including creation of AST's.
- Create and update Property Manuals
- Update property and tenant files and records on a regular basis.
- Order and arrange installation of utility services at the request of the property construction department
- Organise and produce schedules of conditions for use with new tenancies.
- Deal with the termination of tenancies, ensuring that all relevant checks are undertaken and deal with the return of tenants’ deposits.
- Organise Gas, Smoke Alarm, CO2 safety and related checks on the residential properties.
- Deal with council tax queries and assist with dealings with the Local Authority Business rates office as and when required.
- Produce various licenses for the occupation of fields/garages as and when required and ensure these are kept up to date.
- Keep spreadsheets of residential, commercial and licenced properties and ensure these are regularly updated and maintained.
- Deal with queries relating to gas, water, electricity and rates that arise in relation to the various properties (residential and commercial) owned by the company and various other entities.
- Take regular meter readings at all properties.
- Travel to and carry out periodic inspections on rental properties to ensure they are kept in good order, this will also involve meeting with tenants and managing their queries.
- Liaise with third parties on an ad hoc basis as and when directed to order goods and services.
- Perform research as needed by your line managers.

Preferred skills and qualifications;
- Driver’s licence and must have own transport
- Microsoft proficient including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Relevant skills using Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, and quick to learn new skills such as Portico marketing
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Administrative experience
- Professional and friendly
- Minimum 3 A-Level qualifications or equivalent college qualification
