**Clinical Lead Health Visitor**: Perinatal Mental Health -Band 7

Our Bright Start Islington Integrated Service has a Health Visitor Clinical Lead Vacancy for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health.
This exciting new post involves working as a Health Visitor in one of our integrated teams and working as a Clinical Lead Health Visitor approximately one day a week focussing on aspects of Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. This role is a fantastic development opportunity which will enable you to get involved to shape and deliver on the local strategy.

You will be working within the Infant Feeding and Relationship Building Team alongside the Perinatal Mental Health Clinical Specialist who will support your own practice.

You will be responsible for the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme for a geographical area within the Bright Start locality carrying out evidence-based child and family health assessments and develop child/family health plans in partnership with families and other key partners.

You will be working alongside colleagues as part of an identified strategy group to develop the vision and service delivery plans for the high impact area of Perinatal and Infant Mental Health

You will work alongside the clinical specialist and others to ensure that the training, support, protocols and policy agreed are embedded locally across the integrated teams and Bright Start localities.

You will be involved in the development and delivery of a quality assurance framework relating to your specialist area of interest to ensure we are all providing a safe, effective and quality service.

Medical services have been delivered on the Whittington Hospital site for over 500 years. On 1st April 2011, Whittington Health was launched as a new Integrated Care Organisation (ICO) comprising The Whittington Hospital NHS Trust, NHS Islington and NHS Haringey. The Whittington and the community health services in Islington and Haringey are award winning organisations, delivering acute and community based health services to a population of 443,000 people.

The organisation is the biggest employer in the area, with over 4,500 staff; delivering healthcare not only on the acute hospital site which has 420 beds, but also from a variety of other community based health centres and through visits to patients homes across the boroughs to address the health needs of the local population. Whittington Health also works with other health, social care and voluntary sector partners to support patients and service users from their initial appointment whether it be with a community health team or at the hospital, all the way through to treatment and tailored after care.
