The Assistant Clinical Research Practitioner job entails fulfilling all the clinical and administration support duties required when running a clinical trial. This will be done under the supervision of the Clinical Research Nurses and Practitioners. Duties will include attending a variety of acute clinical departments within the hospital in order to recruit patients to clinical trials, or carry out follow up visits. Admin duties include preparing site file documents, localising patient facing documents, monitoring follow up appointment dates, assisting with the implementation of clincal trial amendments, inputting clinical trial data, completion of CRFs, responding to data queries, maintaining stock, arranging couriers and assisting with close down and archiving.

The post will be based at Darlington Memorial Hospital, but the post holder will be required to undertake duties at any of CDDFT Hospital sites or further afield within the North East and North Cumbria Clinical Research Network [CRN] network as required, to meet the needs of the studies
