**_Job Title: SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher_**

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team. As an SEN Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs, while enjoying a rewarding and fulfilling career.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs and abilities of students with special educational needs, ensuring all lessons are accessible and inclusive.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to support students' learning and development, and promote their independence, confidence, and self-esteem.
- Assess students' progress and attainment regularly through formative and summative assessment methods, and use this data to inform instruction, provide feedback, and set individual learning goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues, including teaching assistants, therapists, and external specialists, to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies for students with special educational needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and external professionals, and communicate regularly and effectively with them to provide updates on students' progress, achievements, and any concerns or issues that arise.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with special educational needs, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of SEN provision within the school.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a school or educational setting, and a strong understanding of SEN principles, practices, and legislation.
- Passion for working with students with special educational needs and a commitment to promoting their inclusion, well-being, and academic success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Patience, empathy, and a caring nature, with the ability to respond sensitively to the individual needs and circumstances of students with special educational needs.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with special educational needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
