**Job Role**:Illustrated Parts Data Compiler/Technical Author - Aircraft

**Location**:United Kingdom - Letchworth Office

**Years of experience after graduation**: Years of experience between 5 and 10 years

**Your position will involve**:
Compiling and maintaining Illustrated Parts Lists from the customer’s engineering database (Bill of Materials, engineering drawings).

Liaising with the customer’s engineering teams and on-site support teams to resolve technical queries.

Creating technical documentation from individual data modules to full maintenance manuals for a varied range of clients.

Working closely with other Technical Authors and Illustrators.

Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.

Working with Engineering Drawings, Manufacturer’s Production Processes and 3D models.

A working knowledge or keen interest in the aviation industry.

Good understanding of Quality Control processes.

An understanding of Simplified Technical English (STE) rules.

A working knowledge of Cortona Rapid Suite, Arbortext Editor or other XML editors / content management systems is an advantage, but training will be provided

**To be considered for this opportunity**:
You will need to be a graduate that has studied engineering; Aeronautical/Aerospace, Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering and have an exposure to Technical Publications.
