Market leading, nationwide company within a growing manufacturing space currently have an opening for a Financial Controller to join their expanding finance function.
Working directly with the Finance Director, you will oversee the full finance function, whilst driving developments in the reporting process.
You will be joining a very exciting business in a period of growth that are looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to join their team.
Working directly with the Finance Director your duties will include:
*Preparing reports, commentaries, financial statements and budgets for the various divisions
*Mentoring and supporting junior finance staff
*Responsibility for the preparation of all balance sheet reconciliations
*Liaising with senior board members and managerial staff, ensuring finance processes are running smoothly
*Responsibility for annual cost budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts
*Ensuring efficient and accurate production and reporting of accounts
*Managing and developing financial systems and policies
*Control over cost
*Controlling and forecasting company income and expenditure
*Creating and implementing business strategies to generate company value
*Liaise with senior stake holders across sales, marketing and IT presenting financial information to none finance areas.
*Ideally, hold an accounting/finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
*Have excellent communication skills
*Previous experience in supporting/managing junior staff
Ideally you will be fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA and be able to demonstrate strong career achievements to date within a management accountant/financial accountant position.
