As a Payroll Specialist, you will manage the operations within the established procedures to ensure the timely and accurate generation of payroll, statutory deductions, and any internal salary coding.

You will administer the Time Collection System, updating, reporting, and ensuring data integrity and ensuring the timesheet transition process is efficient to ensure the cost of salary and employees' benefits are reflected correctly in the financial system for all employees in the Payroll region.

You will manage the regional payroll workload for you and the Associate, Payroll. This will include accurately processing assigned payroll payments and any outsourced payrolls and obtaining the necessary payment authorisation.

You will maintain the payroll master file with information and instructions received from HR, Project management and Operations teams, and the Finance department. Ensure all increases, adjustments, leave variable pay, and bonus provisions are accurately calculated and recorded.

You will be responsible for processing payment of expenses or allowances as authorised and ensuring that the payroll outsourcing provider is updated with all changes as required and that all data and figures provided are accurate and submitted on time.

You will coordinate the transfer of salary funds to the bank and reconcile accrued salaries, wages, and all payroll-relevant accounts in the general ledger.

You will be responsible for the year-end processes and reconciliations for Payment Summaries, year-end reconciliations and payments to relevant authorities, and coordinating and managing external and internal payroll audit requests.

Reporting, improving, and managing the HR and Payroll processes will play a key role for you, advising and guiding our business on how things can be enhanced and improved.
